Could be a heavy file gouge from cleaning off a clash or some other cause of a straight die gouge? Not doubling because not connected to associated devices, idk.
Just coin damage on the field. If it were damage on the die, it would be raised. The mark is incuse. So the damage is just a well placed mark. Not a mint error.
