Hello there cc members
I think I might have a 1983 doubled die reverse coin
There is doubling in "e" & "d" and also seen in more letters
I'm just not able to get a great picture.
Let me know if this helps!
Thank you!

to the forum!

That is not a doubled die. Slight Machine Doubling on a couple of letters.
It should be worth one cent, no more than that.

They're not the only letters like that. States and of and some of America is doubled also.

Aushhwruz don't be discouraged, my coins get mangled all the time on the forum due to my ability to see doubling when I feel like it. Keep studying and learning and your ability to spot, identify, and even discern die state will come. Look at pics. of the 1983 Doubled die reverse F'S-801 and you will see its almost comical the strength of doubling you notice with the naked eye.
Your going to find one, it takes time skill luck and effort. I use the cherry pickers handbook as a start but for in-depth knowledge get a "authoritative reference of Lincoln cents second edition" by John wexler and Kevin flynn it shows thousands of doubled dies. This book will get you rolling like thunder.

@luvmyCAM Thank you so much. I'm definitely going to keep studying my coins. It's a hobby i've gotten into recently and I love it! I just have a problem with not getting rid of the coins so I can't even imagine how many pennies I have in my house! But i'm definitely going to look into that book, thank you for your advice I appreciate it a lot.

If you had the right coin under your glass, you would know it. If you can see that minor of MD, then a doubled die will leap out at you.

Take a look at the youtube videos I created a few years back below in my signature line. They are about 20 minutes long. There are 5. So it will take you some time to see them all. I've entitled it: "Coin Fishin'. What To Keep And What to Throw Back."
