Would I be correct in saying this is a miss-aligned obv die error ? III-N-1
If it is is the one pictured offset enough to carry any kind of premium.

This is definitely a misaligned die. I don't know what these catalog for - I don't specialize in errors.
Rest in Peace

This is misaligned but to carry a premiun the alignment must be off enough that some of the design is missing. All of the letters are still showing so this coin should not carry a premium from what I have always been told. You are close but no cigar.

Nice, the good ol' PDS system
For those that are not aware, an excellent book called The Offical Price Guide to Mint Errors by Alan Herbert classifies errors according to the PDS system- Planchet, Die, Striking. All known errors occur with respect to one of those categories. III-N-1 translates to Striking Division(III)-Misaligned and Rotated Strike Varieties(N)-Offset Die Misalignment Strike(1). For minimal value, the rim must be broken(you meet that criteria) and for better collector value, some design or lettering must be missing(nope).

On halves though, you won't find many more mis-aligned than that. Even though details are not missing, it would sell for a slight premium. $3.00 to $5.00 would be about right.
