I'm a long time collector (since 1958 ~ the "new" cents started it for me)
I normally don't join chats/groups, however I need help getting some information:
The 1999 Washington $5 Gold B.U. when these set was issued I know there were the PF and the MS but there was also JUST a PF issued (maroon boxes) My question is , was the Unc. issues separately by the Mint also ? and if it was, I'm looking for a Box & COA. I acquired a MS-70 (NGC) this past week and I try to match up all my moderns to their resp ective Mint issue packaging The bulk of my personal collection is pre-Morgan era US coins and a small stash of Peace dollars my grandfather left to me (1988 he was 92) the rest of his collection (and his dad's = my great GP) is still owned by my Dad (91) I'm 66.
Any help would be appreciated ~~ I'm not well educated with moderns, other than what I see in books & news letters.

Tonehound, yes the Mint did issue the uncirculated version separately.

Here are the production totals

and here's a link to the Mint's webpage about the coin.

Afraid I can't help with the OGP for the coin though. Try ebay. You can find OGP for most issues there.
