Interesting, I have several Silver Proof sets consisting of one coin being .999 pure silver and the other merely clad in a minescule amount. These things worth anything above scrap value?

I'm not aware of any U.S. Proof sets that match that description. To my knowledge, silver proof coins have always been 90% silver, not 99.9% and not plated.

Yup...Silver proof sets were 90% silver (Half, Quarter, Dime) nothing "with a minuscule amount"

Year of your sets might help but the answer will be the same assuming they are actually SILVER proof sets AND from the Mint
