So I am pretty sure this will be nothing, but I was interested in trying to find some errors in the pennies I had.

I found this one on a 1993 Memorial penny, around the top middle of the Memorial:

Most likely it may just be damage over time, but I was curious enough to post it here. Can someone let me know if I have a crack or if it is just damage? Thanks!

PS, Pics were taken with phone through loop magnifier, sorry if quality isn't as good, but I tried for the best possible pic!

Seeing zinc at the center. Copper plating getting pimples from something between the zinc core and copper plate.

It will only get worse. Although I can see why you would ask.

Not die cracking, but split plating. This can happen on the strike on the outside devices, the outside of the columns, oor post strike from someone damaging the coin. When this split that exposes the zinc happens, the countdown for the coin begins. It ends when the zinc all disappears. Not a keeper. Spend it.
