Actually, I believe what you are seeing was caused by the re-engraving of one of the Master Die's, so technically it's not a hub doubled Master Die.
Before everyone gets their tail feathers all ruffled, there is just as much evidence supporting a re-engraving of the Master Die as there is for it being a hub doubled Master Die, except that it shows a lot more similarities to a re-engraved Die than it does to any of the known Classes of doubled dies.
I really think this needs to be addressed being that anywhere from 40-60% of all 1972
LMC's were affected by this Master Die Issue. Not to mention that this is probably the most talked about modern
LMC variety, garnering multiple inquiries every month by novice variety coin enthusiasts that are seeing something much different than what they have been taught about hub doubled dies.

Everyone says that some of the 1972
LMC exhibit "classic" Master Die doubling, I'm just saying......What if it doesn't?
