While we are at it, what grade (UK or US) would you give to this one? Both this 1826 and the 1831 posted separately came from a collection I bought about 6 years ago - they always surprise me how good they are when I get them out.

Exceptional British copper; comes as no surprise to me that you are quite satisfied with it.

Miniscule amount of high point wear on tip of ribbon near truncation of neck, and cheek, eyebrow, and perhaps on two of the garland leaf tips. ( obv.) Wear on these points long since patinated over. Hit on field near trident.
Cut below knee on rev. doesn't help.
A few tiny rim bumps.

Nice patina.

gEF (British), AU58.

I think the rim bumps and some of the other marks are significant enough that on the Sheldon scale it doesn't top AU53. Still a coin anybody ought to be proud to own.

Its EF paddy IMO.Also appears to be a six over one that is collectible although unrecorded.
A setting out error with the one entered first but should of been done in reverse on the die.
Would really need a close up picture of the six but I am pretty sure it is.

Wow @PWA 1967 your eyes are sharp! Here is an enlargement of the date and now you point it out I can see the tail of the one below the 6.
