I usually get to CCF via my "favorites," but I have also just put coincommunity.com in the address bar and pressed go, and I have also used Google to bring up a site listing. No matter how I do it, generally I cannot get it to load. The little black bar in the bottom tray goes across, the funny Windows four-square flag thing wiggles in the upper right-hand corner, but I never get anything but a cursor arrow -- not a hand over hyperlinks. When it just hangs there, if I press the X in the upper right, I get a choice to end the program which is "not responding."

Sometimes if I go to Tools and delete all history and then immediately try to get to CCF, it will load. Sometimes if I go to another site (ANY other site) and the hit CCF in my favorites list, it will load from there.

I took my 9-year-old modem back to Comcast yesterday and got a new one, which is all installed and works fine, and it did not solve the problem. I have had Comcast check my connection to the internet, which is fine. Other sites load just fine.

Anybody see anything in what I've described that will explain this problem?

Thanks for listening.

Jan, I have received no other complaints, are you still having issues?

Thanks, Bobby. Must be my computer at home. It doesn't happen here at work, where I am now. Other sites load just fine, though, so I wondered if there was something different about this one.

I'll just have to live with it until I get serious about a new computer.

Thanks anyway.
