Knowing how to display your art can be just as important as the art itself. I know as an artist and photographer that when I want to show my work someplace, the frames I choose are very important. They have to work with the art/photo and become a part of the artwork itself.

I've always wanted to find an attractive way to display my most favorite coins. Albums are fine, but too mainstream--I want something really elegant and sophisticated. I like to make things and have thought that a small customized wooden chest with drawers would be ideal. I've never gotten around to actually making it yet, but it's on my list.

I was wondering if you have a particularly attractive display for your best coins, could you could share photos? Thanks.
Rest in Peace

Checkout Nickelsearcher's avatar and go see stuff he makes...I'm doing my type set a bit different in that I use 2x2's in vinyl page, labeled simply on the coin cardboard with a labelmaker. I then plan an putting a coppy sheet with all associated info side-by-side. This way it is simple and cclean. I like the Caps albums but for what all I have, it would cost more than the coins are worth to use it that way. I have a binder for 18th-21stst Century type set , one for my currencies, and one for slabbed and mounted special sets. Not that many see mine anyway, and I'm not particularly crazy )?( about letting the thieving masses know just what I have, other than a loaded weapon within three seconds of my reach......Welcome to the Hotel California...
