I'm not turning my PC screen. How about just rotating your pic until it's oriented properly?

No need to post more pics, really. From what can I tell even from the rotated photos, they all seem to show damage faced after the minting process. The alphabet you are seeing is just where it took a hit from, say, another coin.

I hope you haven't started writing checks on your newly acquired riches yet.
Keep looking, there are some nice rare coins waiting to be found, but you need to learn what to look for. Learning a little about the minting process will help you to know if a coin is damaged or if it is a mint error.
Rest in Peace

Took a hit and the raised part your seeing lighter in color is because it was metal not previously exposed

The "S" you are seeing is where an object dented the coin and pushed up the metal in the shape of an S.

If damage made a coin more valuable, they would all be damaged by now.
