Nice ones. My grandparents both came to America from Finland. I have several Finnish coins.

Those'd seem about as high grade as might be hoped for.

These coins were auctioned as prooflikes. If they appear to be when in hand I'm definitely getting them graded by NGC or PCGS.

I've always thought these are beautiful and affordable coins (a great combination ). I used to have an 1892 (nowhere near this beautiful condition) and a mint state 1915, but those are quite common. I hope you are not disappointed!

I've only collected US coins before. I decided to try collecting Grand Duchy of Finland 1 markka coins since there isn't that many diffrent coins. Also affordability is great bonus (excluding 1870 1 markka coin, only 2-3 known examples). And I do like the design! I also checked NGC census and it seems there is only 3 examples graded as PL and one example graded as DPL. So that got me interested to try collecting prooflike strikes if/when I can find one. Of course there is possibility that these coins aren't prooflikes but I'll take my chances with auction pictures.

From the pics I would be surprised if the 1892 came back proof like. Maybe its the lighting angle. Is that a die crack on the "S[ELWA]A" for the 1892?

Finally got these coins from auction. Yes that is a die crack on 1892 coin. Both coin do have mirrored fields. I hope that is enough for NGC for PL designation. Here are few pictures that I took with my phone.

Update. NGC Europe submission centre received these coins on april 3th. On april 10th my coins were shipped to NGC Sarasota. On April 16th they arrived to Sarasota office and since then my coins have been scheduled for grading.
I hope it will not take much more time to get grades.
