Hi. I don't know much about morgans, but I would recommend going to heritage auctions. They have literally hundreds of pictures in the archives, really big detailed pics. You can sign up for free to view.

The following is a link to the VAMworld website that has a good page for fake 1893 S Morgans. Look out for altered mint marks also.

Do you have pics of your coin, we would like to see it if you do.

Here is the photo of the diagnostics of the genuine in LIBERTY. In the picture the letters appear raised but they are actually incuse on the coin. You will note a raised die gouge from above the T's left foot up to the left above the R's right foot. There is also an odd die chip in the base of the upright of the R, the famous "rabbit" die chip. This is inside the incuse letter so it is well protected and will be present even on very worn coins. Unfortunately the letter may be filled with gunk that could hide the chip.

the 1893S dollar is one of the easiest coins to authenticate because all 1893S dollars were minted with the same obverse die. the pictures condor posted are perfect. if your dollar does not have the die marks on the T and R and the T to Y, it is not genuine. it is that simple.
