How rare is this coin for this grade? What do you estimate the value for it?

IF it was graded by PCGS it would go for $65 easily, and this one might go for more than $50 if someone really wanted it in auction. I've seen those live auctions, and people bid unbelievable prices for things I don't think are worth that much. (Yeah! 50 posts) I'll leave now, knowing how miserably I used you all to get my SCORE up there!

actually, pretty scarce, since more of them are available in MS-66 and better.
The 1938 D's were very well struck and hoarded, so there are plenty of uncs to go around.
