Thanks Tunnioc, I figured it was a Bot takeover. That is why it is imperative to watch what you post folks. There are Bots roaming ALL websites, it is totally impossible to capture and control access to all of them. They sit waiting for ignorant (not being nasty, you may not know this!) people to post specific personal information such as credit card and personal email addresses to be posted or restricted websites. Once recognized and "grabbed" this becomes a gateway for the Bot to bring in all this garbage. This is also how your own devices can be "captured" and held for "ransom". A Bot gets your ticket (email, IP address) and notifies a scammer. I had this happen while on ebay, got held up for ransom by a temporary virus, which to my delight(thanks Tootallious)was fixed by a simple System Restore. I find this event here on CCF , "interesting" that on Tunnioc's screenshot in the top is listed an ebay posting....hmmmm, ya think? |
