Looks likw damage not a broadstrike. Possibly?::::

I agree, it looks more like it was encased and used as jewelry.

Odd. Obverse looks pushed in mid left field, yet Liberty is sharp.

Looks like a former Encased Coin, now just a damaged coin. Best to leave these in the holders. At least they have some value there. Other wise they are cull coins when taken out.

Here is what I mean by 'Encased" cents:

When they are pressed into the holder, it damages the edge of the coins.

It looks like a punched in area under LIBERTY pushing through the back on the left wheat are area. So they may have hammer there to push it into the encasement instead of pressing it in like later examples.
