I bought this 2016 P reverse eye Die Clash on ebay for 3.75 with free shipping. This one is pretty strong since you can see his eye on the reverse. I am very happy with this purchase as well as the other one with the Die Chip. Here's the link if you want to see the ebay listing. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2016-P-Jef....m2749.l2648 Errers and Varietys.

Ahh, looks like the seller "enhanced" his pictures a bit. I would have passed on that one - you have boughten so many other good clashes!!

I still like it though and it wasn't bad for the price in my opinion. As long as I'm happy, than that's what matters. I am still satisfied with the purchase though, because I've never found a Die Clash on a modern Jefferson nickel.

Sometimes you just have to have one. Then when you get it, you don't need a second one.

Yep, that's right Coop. Just needed one for my collection. It was something I was looking for a while, but never came across one in circulation. :) Quote:Ah Ha David, getting too many boxes of Lincoln Cents Try searching nickles just to break up the monotony - you will find alot of goodies as alot of people bypass nickel boxes for the "Big Finds" I think I'm too much of a Lincoln Cent collector nut! I think I'll give that a try one day. Once in a while of course, since I'm too attached to Lincoln Cent boxes.

That's what I call a "faint clash". I was actually thinking about starting a thread just for them. I didn't think it would get much fan fare! Not that I want a thread with 300 responses, I just love seeing those smaller or hard to see clashes. Nice coin. Look in the doorway to the east the line is there!

Seems like the mint didn't notice these as much as we do. So they may have missed them. Probably from now on they will note them more.

Thank you Newbie234. I think it would be a great idea to start a thread about these small Die Clashes. Coop, I wonder if the U.S. Mint missed a ton of these because of it being so small. It's probably almost too small to see on the reverse die.
