I wonder what is with this 1974 D dime; the W in "WE" and "4" in the date stamp seem to be blended into the rim. Is this an error or AMD?

@FS, looks to me like MAD (although posting pics that don't have part of the coin cropped out would help to confirm). I'm sure that others will weigh in, but I'm thinking that when the inscriptions start to be missing that there is some added value. Probably worth saving, even if just a nice example of this phenomenon.
