Classic die deterioratiom, notice how liberty is at the rim, die flow, VLDS, all sorts of goodies. Will post some diagrams in a few
Die attrition is another name for deterioration...Is-This-Machine-Doubling?-1985-And-1982-Quarter.

So is the VLDS (Metal Flow) just the die basically spreading outward?

And MD altering the dies, the coin also suffered a lot of alteration in circulation.
1. VLDS dies
2. Machine Doubling
3. Circulation damaged.
Very spendable. More knowledge in knowing what happened, then any value for this coin.

Sometimes we only see one event happen to a coin. Other times more. On your coin it was the worst of th worst events for a coin for collecting. (3 strikes and your out of here for that one) LOL
