I split this out from the other topic. I wanted to get the regular US Classic eyes on it.

Around VF-30 and VG-10, respectively. Each would retail at around $25 or so, maybe a bit less.

Thanks for the valuation coinfrog, I only paid few pence for them each, so I got a real good deal.

The Three Cent piece appears to be the closed three variety as well.

Wow! Wish there were junk shops with this kind of coin in the U.S.

Keep checking junk shops and junk boxes over there, maybe you'll find that 1870 S quarter.

I was working away from home on Friday and found a local market, there was stall with a bag of coins for £3.50. I got 1924 nickel, 1917 nickle, 1890 worn nickle, 1912 nickle, a worn 1922 sixpence and the best of all 1918 dime in I think very good condition. It's been ages since I've had a deal like this.

Solid F-15, averaging $25 USD, and VG-8 at $28 USD average. So yes, not bad at all for a few shillings.
Don't think the government would look too favorably if one showed up at the Granite Lady to remove the only "supposed" 1870s specimen resting in the corner stone.

Be sure to check for mint marks below "FIVE CENTS" on the Buffalos and to the left of "CENTS" below the dot on the 1912 Liberty nickel and bottom right on the 1918 Dime. Those Buffalos look especially nice! Update when able.

VF for the theee cent nickel. I can't tell from the images (on my phone) but look for clashing. This series is known for its die issues - no extra premium, just extra enjoyment!
