I just received my grab bag lot and was going through these. This is "kinduva" trick question. I want you to say by these pix what you would grade these, even knowing the source and manner received. These came in a plastic bag of which I hope is PVC free, but unknown. The source is supposed to have been a long time collector's estate. By the mix of coins, it was a junk drawer selection, coins not in a tube/wrapper(time?). Pix 1 is the auction lot. Pix 2 is the bag taken from scope #1, and #3 also a closeup from scope #1. Scope 1 is higher res, poor lighting. Pix 4-6 are Scope #2, with change of lighting. All coins in the bag are similar in condition. What I am trying to show is judging by pix will get you the short end unless those pix are extremely accurate. My personal assessment with coins in hand judges these coin not very good.

From Pix #2 and #3 one would jump for joy and rush to coffin them ASAP. #3-6, may give a pause for thought tho, but the Mark1-Eyeball will say "MS-60BN, Improperly stored-Environmentally damaged". Glad these were a "surprise", I would be greatly disappointed in buying these directly as "BU". These have "toned", quite unevenly at that, almost like something had gotten on the coins, maybe improperly rinsed, most likely handling and storage, skin oils. The rubs, bag marks and general condition show these have been floating loose and tossed about far too much. I grade them MS60 only because it is obvious these have never been circulated at all, all are together now in a tube (one shy of a roll(?).

Looks like I have another supply of coins to give out to munchkins at the stores.

I mean, what can you say except they appear uncirculated but apparently have ED?

I'll take a jab at it. I'm not a professional in grading, but I'll say for pictures #5 and #6 MS-63.
