IMHO,a so-so clash. Not all that strong and the finger print would make me release it back to the wild. John1

Nice find David! These are fun to find! The reason you have this coin...is the greasy finger Lay's potato chip eater doesn't know about error coins or what a die clash is. They know stuffing their pie hole with chips and fumbling for change in the couch. See, knowledge is power!

Quote: Sorry David - not awesome, yes clash, but also fingerprint kills it!! I think it's awesome. I found it in the wild. I don't even care about the fingerprint at all (not my fingerprint). Just remember Mark, that's your opinion about the Die Clash. I'm keeping it because I like it and got it for face value. I search circulated bankrolls about 99% of the time and don't care too much about the conditions. Quote:Nice find David! These are fun to find! Poor Abe. He gets scuffed, burnt, mangled, tatooed, and on top of all thrown in jail. Has any coin suffered more indignity than the Lincoln Cent? Nice clash errorV.

Thank you luvmyCAM. It seems like poor old Abraham Lincoln takes the most abuse out of any other denomination. I guess people hate cents. I notice they're most of the time fingerprinted. But, that doesn't matter to me on circulated coinage. As long as I like the coin, I'll keep it.

I'd keep it E@V, and try to find a clashed cent from every year Does not look like it had an acetone bath yet.

Thank you Jim and Tunnioc. I agree as well it's worth keeping, fingerprinted or not. That's a great idea you suggested Tunnioc. I will work on that too and will keep any I find from different dates as long as it's strong enough. It has not had its Acetone bath yet. I'm going to give it a soak later and will post the results from the bath.

I think it's a nice clash, but agree with the others the condition doesn't help. Looks like a keeper, though.
