Hello. I am new to this whole "Coin Collecting" thing, and I do not believe this will be long lived. I found this 1967 no mint mark, I believe what is to be an Error, and maybe even "Double Die" (I Think) and yeah. I do not really know what any of this means or what the worth is and the reason I wan't to sell it is because I am saving up for some new Computer Components for my new Gaming Computer. I have some other coins too but there are way to many to count. (1990 D Quarter,1993 P Quarter, 2005 Kansas P Quarter, and finally a 1995 D Quarter). I will post some pictures here in a second (They won't be that great of quality) but I wan't some of your guys's opinions on the worth of this, etc. Thanks!

Also please note that the image quality is poor due to it being taken with my iPhone 6S up close, and I had to shorten the size of the File by grading it down slightly. If any other pictures are needed please say so!

What you show appears to be a normal coin that was struck with an LDS die. That means that the die wore down during striking so many coins and one of the effects is that the outer devices (letters) start to creep toward the rim and eventually will merge with it to a degree. (LDS=Late Die State) There is much to learn and please do post any other coins that you find interesting or have questions about. P.S. It is not a Double d Die. The search box here is very useful for finding related topics, such as what a doubled die really is.

Wow, it sounds like you have $1.01 worth of coins. All the U.S. 1965-1967 coins did not have mint marks. That is a common coin. The 'L' and the motto issue on this years coins were an issue that year and 1968. It was fixed in 1969 with a new master hub was created.

Wheat cent about 3 cents. 1972 dollar is worth face value. The 1987 is a silver coin. Silver is $16+ (today price from an internet site, price varies often) dollars for melt. If you take it to a silver buyer you will get a bit less than that.

Alright thanks! Yea I was just wondering because I found this site that said the specific penny was worth 3,000 even without any Errors, Strikes or anything like that.

Quote: I found this site that said the specific penny was worth 3,000 even without any Errors, Strikes or anything like that. Well, it is good that you are here! You will get a much better assessment of your coins in this forum. I personally can't think of any 1958 US coin that is worth that, much less a cent. Just remember, unlike me, many of the users here have decades of numismatic history & knowledge under their figurative belts.
