I was given this from my mom and I'm not sure what it is! It's not magnetic and has some weight to it! Don't know what the symbols are or mean! If anyone has any idea what, where and or how old it is, I'd appreciate it a lot!

A picture of the edge might give hints to it being a cast reproduction. Not sure what it would be but I'm sure someone here does!

Unfortunately, it's a replica of a Spanish colonial "cob" coin. Specifically, a 4 reales, or half-dollar, dated 1753.

I can be sure it's a replica because this company is selling coins exactly like it - same shape, date, denomination etc. These replicas are often used in "pirate jewellery".

You can see the word "COPY" clearly stamped vertically into the second picture on the right of the coin.

Wow that's my first time noticing it has the word copy stamped right there on the coin! Thanks for everything guys! And I totally missed that! It's real silver though right!
