Geeze. That's just frightening if you're a business owner.

Frightening, but once again something that has been going on for decades. There is nothing new to this scam.

Agreed Conder101. As a shop owner you should have systems in place to help prevent stuff like that from happening. Best thing that can be done is spreading the word about what's going on.

We were wiped out after the Vancouver Show yesterday June 2 / 18. Hit for well over $70000 at Cost . We were Followed from the show . Report filed with the Fraser Valley RCMP File#2018-21973 Constable C McGregor. Pretty much finishes us off for awhile. It can and does happen to anyone who is in the business. You can be as careful as you want , but if they are going to get you they will. All I can Say is thankfully my wife and I are Ok , and get to live to fight another day .

Thank goodness you're both okay. It's a shame lax penalties for crimes like this keep exposing business owners like yourselves to such risks.

There is a follow up . Just informed that my Good Dealer colleague in Langley was also robbed on Friday in his shop . The poor guy is in his early 80s. Apparently 20 K in gold coins .

Do you know if this was the same perpetrators? If so, it sounds like someone has researched and is targeting smaller dealers in the Vancouver area and should be a caution to all folks in the region.

@PC, I'm very sorry to hear this. Will you be posting pics of the stolen items so that the folks here can be on the lookout for them?
