I considered bidding for this on ebay:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/33256455...l_noapp=true

but the reverse seems to be very indistinct, much worse than the usual pieces - is it a later cast copy ?

I also considered this:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/23267492...l_noapp=true
but the obverse seems to be somewhat indistinct, and the reverse was not shown - is it a later cast copy ?

The seller has mainly good feedback but bad feedback about not replying to emails or non-delivery of coins.

What do you think ?

The first looks original but holed and plugged at 12:00. It's been beat up quite a bit. Seller gives diameter of 44mm but not the weight, only to say that it is heavy.

I'd like to see the silver content sussed out first via XRF but seller has 14 day returns and decent enough feedback, and it sold for low enough that it might be worth the gamble.

Seller clearly states the 2nd is a restrike. It has mount or rim damage at 6:00 and I do not like the pitted surfaces on the obverse. I would avoid this one.

Thank you.

It was so clear that I did not see it was a restrike.
