Anybody here ever go to their local chuck E cheese and keep the arcade tokens? apparently these have become very collectible...I personally have 10 or 12 laying around from the early 80s,but nothing rare...

This guy is paying up to $1000.00 for certain tokens

$1000 for a CEC token? I can easily think of a dozen better ways to spend the money.

Heard about that site on metal detecting boards. Found 9 CEC tokens so far, alas nothing of any value.

Oh, yea. That's when I knew I had a problem. I was actually excited to go to Chuck E Cheese. Its pretty embarrasing when your kids are standing in front of you whinning with their hands held out. You're flipping through all of the tokens saying "Hold on, hold on, I'm still looking for a 2007. If you get anymore tokens you make sure you come right back here so I can look at them before you spend them."

I thought I had collecting "issues" passed on from my father, but $1000 for a Chuck E Cheese token?!?!?

I'll give you a quarter for it and shove it in the Ms PacMan game just before I jump into the pile of plastic balls and have one more slice of greasy pizza.
