Today I received in the mail (4) Danbury Mint 1oz .999 Presidential Rounds delivered for $107.55 (current melt $128.27).
Also (3) 40% Ikes, a 1973P Ike, a 1984 proof set, a 1965 Churchill crown, a 1970 Great Britain Proof set and a 1969 Sudan Proof set delivered for $19.52 (melt value of Ikes $30.41).

Great purchase ratman4762.

I won 2 lots, the first was 5 £5 coins which included two silver £5 coins for £16 approx $21.




The second lot, was a 9 carat gold token with a weight of 3 grams, I paid £15 approx $19.50.

My goodness, it seems it's possible to scour ebay for unloved or badly categorized silver items and snag them up for well under melt value. If I were you I wouldn't let that cat out of the bag!

Gold also, but it's a lot harder and happens less often.

Both Silver and clad 2003 Proof sets delivered for $16.52. Subtract all the nonsilver of $3.97 and I paid $12.55 for the silver. (Melt value of the 1.34 oz of silver is $45.60).

(pictured are 2002 sets. I received 2003.
