Hunting State Quarters For Grins - Coin Community Forum

I'm working on a folder of the National Park quarters, strictly taken out of circulation. I also save out all Bicentennial, 2003 Illinois, 2016 Shawnee-Illinois, and, of course, all the silver ones. (I haven't found any of those in two years.) Anyway, I got to wondering what the chances are of finding at least one quarter from each state in 800 quarters. I jotted down the state abbreviations, and when I found one, I crossed it off. It was close -- 49 states were represented. There were multiples of a lot of states, but poor old Missouri had none. A fun little exercise that I probably won't be doing again. Report this Post to the Staff
