PCGS got back to me about my warranty sub after 12 months.
Overgraded was the decision.
I thought it was doctored, but its academic as I just want to get my money back.

They offered the compensation number (get it back with lower grade) and strangely an offer to conserve/clean it for free.
But no "market value" number.
No good as I don't want it back.
Now its 15 months they are unresponsive again.
The person who looks after warranty payouts is away, I was told.
However I see the warranty stats ticking over on their website...
Does anyone know who this warranty person is ?

Sounds like PCGS warranty is a lot like the USPS
I wonder if PCGS has a BBB rating? 12 months to get a response, come on
Good luck to you,I hope you get a favorable outcome.

EDIT: Just checked the BBB and it is accredited since 2012. You need to report them to the BBB.

Anyone who thinks the BBB holds any weight needs to do some research on the subject.

I think it used to be David Hall but since his brain surgery I think someone else took it over.

with Baseball - the BBB rating is basically useless.

To prove the point, a group of Los Angeles business owners paid $425 to the Better Business Bureau and were able to obtain an A minus grade for a non-existent company called Hamas, named after the Middle Eastern terror group.

But I don't think it will hurt to report the incident to BBB.

I'm sure BBB has their share of corruption and incompetency.

I would first call back and ask to speak with a "supervisor" to try to escalate the issue. And tell them that you will report them to the BBB and their states Attorney General. That may be enough to just get a "response" from someone with authority.

And these days, your best option is to post a complaint to a public forum like their Facebook or Twitter pages.. that way it gets seen by LOTS of people and companies tend to respond very quickly..

Just an idea if you aren't happy..

Good luck!
