The round thing is a water spot that has dried. The incuse area looks like coin damage. Can't tell for sure if there is contact on the edge of the bust or not? But the mark seems longer than the design area. So I'm still not sure yet. Keep it safe for now. It might be die damage because it is raised.

Let me ask you a question: "Is it on all coins you find in your area? Or just some of them?" If just some of them from the same mint and year, then it might be a delivery of coins with a single die issue on that batch of coins. The site I checked only had two examples. Maybe others can provide images that might help us a bit more?

in answer to your question coop
i would have to say on just some of them.
from one roll, of the 2015 brick, out of 50pc I would say there was maybe 5 or so? I wasnt really counting them and into the jar they went, as I do not think it is much? because I have seen no pics or descriptions of anything like it on any of the sites I roam so I just figured it was some common anomolly?
I was more just wondering because I have seen the similar thing through out my search of many bricks-mostly circulated- on other coins and dates (cant be quite sure of exacts, just know ive seen it) and figured I would ask to expand my knowledge so I'm not passing something by that maybe I shouldnt be?...kind of like those 94 DDR's that are hopefully still in one of the jars somewhere because I didnt know what they were...at that point in time lol
Thanks again

It souln't like just one die was affected. So it is not a doubled die, more of a die damaged issue. I found one similar to your coin. I found several of them, but no premium for it though:

The run had several of them in it, but they were easy spot as the planchets looks like proof cents. (but they are not) They just stood out that way in the roll. determined it was die damage on a single die.

kind of what I thought...
I understand that, one working die got damaged. not from a master or hub die (did I get that right lol)
Might you know a rough estimate of how many dies are made from a master? and so on......
I know it has to be an estimate as it varies just wondering roughly how many are used?
As always thank you coop and ps GREAT posts you made on the ATB Quarters and single squeeze

Here is a breakdown of how the dies are created:
2015-LSC-What-Is-It?
Working hubs (many) Working dies (many more).

On the die it maybe just a few had been struck after the event happened, or if the die is continued to be aged, then hundreds of thousands of coin could be struck. But no premium for this. Damage happened after the die was started to be used. Not a hub issue. The die may have been dropped/hit hit another die in handling along the way, anytime.
