Which is it? I am pretty sure it is just a 1794 Head of '93 because I think I am seeing denticles on the reverse (as seen in last picture). By the way, the coin has a lettered edge. What do you think?
Thanks!

In the absence of almost all details, I'll default to 1794 head of 1794. The lettered edge isn't a differentiator.

@thq, what makes you think that this is a head of '94?
Thanks!

Because there aren't enough details for me to tell, I defaulted to the most common variety. I can't see the dentils you're talking about.

Send it to ANACS and get an expert opinion. Without the date it's worth having it in a slab, especially if you're reselling. In P-1 it's the difference between a $200 and a $400 coin.

It probably won't get into a slab. Typically you have to have date to get it P-1 grade or there has to be enough detail to determine variety tell that it was a particular date. I can tell that this is a 1794 but I can't tell you if it's a head of 93, head of 94 or a head of 95. I say it's a 1794 because I can make out the L in liberty, and its position distance away from the liberty is too great to be a 1793 or 1795. But I think you'd have difficulty convincing a third-party grading service of that.

Now that is what I call a worn coin.
