Hello all.

Please see the attached photos. What is this? We are trying to figure it out and have had no luck. I'm sure everyone here knows. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks as always!

I don't see it on Numista. At least I don't see that reverse. Someone will be by that knows an answer.
Check out my counterstamped Lincoln Cent collection:

There's no denomination as on a genuine Panda coin.
Also the reverse has discrepencies from a genuine Panda.
Probably a Chinese silver plated counterfeitt.

It appears to be a token based on the panda coin.
http://www.goldbarsworldwide.com/PD...on_Coins.pdf

'Gold Panda bullion coins are issued as legal tender coins by the People's
Bank of China with the authority of the State Council of the People's
Republic of China.
Each size of coin has a face value denominated in Yuan' (see p.4)

Also 'The giant panda design has been changed annually since the launch of
the coin in 1982. The wording on the reverse has remained the same
since 1992'
(see p.8) the reverse on your token is that of the year 2000 and not 2005.
