Anybody get to go? Seems like it wasn't advertised too much.

I'm sure the 8$ admission for non-members and 10$ parking fee didn't help break down the doors.

I was there all 3 days. Thursday was busy, Friday less so. Saturday (free day) in the middle. As usualusuaa disappointing number of dealers had closed up all day and certainly by noon Saturday.

This always been the smaller of the two ANA shows.

Attendence the last two years (Dallas 2016 and Orlando 2017) were both around 2,500. Portland in 2015 saw a pent up demand and clocked 3800ish.

Members are only counted once..

I had planned on going Friday but I received a summons for jury duty a couple weeks back for today. So, I cancelled my plans so not to miss work Friday and Monday. Both felons changed their plea to guilty after seeing the courtroom full of jury prospects and I ended up at work by 10 A.M. Go figure....

I really enjoyed this year. I did the Legacy interview w/Mark Borckardt and spent 3-5 hours out there on Thurs/Fri and 2 more hours on Sat. Mostly selling but I did buy some early copper. Dropped a 7-coin batch off with PCGS.

It was nice seeing some of my favorite dealers there (Lucas/FriscoMint, Rick Snow/EERC, Col. Ellsworth/Butternut, and a couple of other EAC dealers were there too) but I spent a lot of time talking to BrokenCC/Northern Nevada Coin and thus I was privileged to be able to hold a Brasher doubloon, a Moffatt slug, and a couple of Bechtlers, which is more $$$ worth of coins than I'll ever own in a lifetime. It felt "smaller" than 2016 ANA @ Dallas Convention Center, but that may just be me. I am gearing up for TNA 2018 in Arlington, which I try to attend every year.

Maybe I'll see you @ TNA Adam, I'm signed up to volunteer for at least one shift (Frank knows he can usually sucker me into more - I was one of his floaters for ANA).

The perception of the space is often dictated by the ceiling heights more than reality...
The convention space in Irving is quite a bit smaller than the Dallas CC was for 2016, but a tiny bit larger than Arlington (TNA).

Each of the exhibit halls at KBH in Dallas (except F) are +/-100,000 sq ft (IIRC we were in A and the zombies in C) (here)

Irving is only 50,000 sq ft (here)

Arlington (here) is 48,600 and we only filled ~2/3 at TNA last year (I remember it well, I was part of the team of four that did all the table covers).
