I know strike quality was an issue with 1921 Peace dollars, but did they have different dies? Look at picture one... the bottom of the "1" in "1921" looks square and blocky. In picture 2 the "1" in "1921" is flared out at the bottom and looks like a completely different template/die. Is this truly just a difference in strike quality or did this coin have varieties in the date used?

Thanks, I actually did check there but didn't see anything about a date font variety. I'm new to that site though so maybe I missed it.
