From the Numismatic News e-Newsletter update in my email inbox http://www.numismaticnews.net/artic...fb-nl-180313

Huntoon reports on a collector's discovery of a previously unreported national banknote from the First National Bank of Boyd, Minnesota.

Always keep your eye out for nationals there are still plenty of unreported banks waiting to be rediscovered.

ron6788 if you are asking how a person would know if a bank is unreported.

Here are some methods to use:

Check Don Kelly's National Bank Notes the most recent being the 6th Edition published back in 2008.

Next, check the auction archives on: Heritage; Lyn Knight also handles quite a few nationals. Manifest Auctions (which sold to Stacks) still shows nationals they've sold; Stacks and don't forget to check ebay listings

At one time I did a trial period for Track & Price which lets a person view their database.

There is also the National Currency Foundation which you pay to join to view their records. I have never joined nor do I know anyone that has.

My apologies for this lengthy reply however I wanted to answer with the best information at my disposal.
