Please help with an identification of a rupee 1840.
Obv.: with S initial; a lock on front ribbon.
Rev.: 18 berries (L:10; R:8); Large date; no privy marks; 2 leaves.

You have a beautiful coin here. There are many variations of the this type. On close examination it looks like there may be a small V on the bottom of the right ribbon bow. I looked for a match in "South Asian Coins & Paper Money, Indian Edition" by George Cuhaj, Editor, Krause Publications 2013, which lists quite a few varieties of the 1840 Victoria rupee.

It looks like this is KM 457.5. Here's the description: S incuse on truncation, 19 berries, small diamonds, with V on right ribbon bow. Mint: Madras. I don't see any other varieties listed with S incuse and 19 berries.
