Thought this was interesting news...
Ukraine is replacing its notes of 1, 2, 5 and 10 Grivnya with coins.
The official presentation (in Ukranian)The 1 and 2 Grinvya coins will be made of galvanized steel, the 5 and 10 of a "galvanized zink alloy"
All coins will feature the same portraits on the obverse as the notes they're replacing. Coins will have diametres from 18,9 to 23,5 millimetres and weigh from 3,3 to 6,4 grammes.
The 1 and 2 Grivnya coins will be issued on 27 April 2018.
Makes sense since 1 Grivna is about £0,03 last time I checked.
