Hello
Studying 1 ¢ 1948 and 1949 I found an error in the Charlton catalog.
Did you know that there was an error regarding the number of denticles on these parts as presented in these catalogs?
And this error is there since the publication of these writings for the first time in the edition 65 ° 2011 which continues with the 71 ° edition of 2018.
There were 3 new matrices of the obverse made in 1948 to change the legend.
In the writing of the Charlton catalog they refer to the reverse for the number of denticles, hence the error.
I put you these photos for the calculation of denticles for 1948 only which is also valid for 1949, as well as a copy of what is the Charlton catalog.
The word "Reverse" would have to be changed to "Obverse" and everything would be consistent.
Any additional information from you would be appreciated.
