I saw this auction lot, if I was still collecting them, I'd go after it myself. Seems a nice spread of issuers. Have at it!

I don't consider myself an avid or serious collector of the the genre, mostly just plucking the occasional individual one from a "bargain" bin. But I've also been able to buy groups of them, both at shops and shows.

Here's one such lot I picked up just a couple of months ago:

Here's another from a few years back (I described it at the time as my "instant transit token collection") which was really what got me as much into them as I now am:

Neither of the above cost me very much. I'd remark that actually there's not a terribly large quantity in that estate auction with quite a few obvious duplicates to boot. It'll be interesting to see what it goes for.

Thanks for the notice. I have a friend, not on this site, that collects them avidly and I pushed the note to him.

Not sure if he does prohibit or not.
