I have found several Lincoln shield cents with die clashes but this may be the strongest that I have found. Even part of the designers initials are showing. Just sharing.

Very nice find and very strong Die Clash! That's the strongest one I've ever seen on a 2017 P LSC! That's pretty rare to find one this strong. Nice one! Did that come out of an OBW roll?

It actually came out of a $50.00 bank bag.

Wow! You scored pretty high then! It's awesome that it came out of an 50.00 dollar face value bank bag. Nicely done my friend!

Still don't have one of them yet. I tried bidding on one on ebay when they were first found. It went for more than 3X what I bid. Passed me like I was standing still.

I went out and looked at the ones on ebay and it appears to me that this is a different and stronger clash. Those were selling for between 20 and 40 dollars. I don't see the clash at the top of the head or the B of PLURIBUS in the center of the jacket like in the photo above. However that could just be a trick of light.

That one is a nice one. I don't recall the lines behind the head on these before. So it is a strong clash.

That sounds like a good idea Harley. It might be the best thing to do. There are also 5 known true DDO's for that year, the real ones (I'm not talking about the known Doubled Working Hubs).

I have about a half a roll of die clash cents and I looked at the last ones that I put in there. I only found one other die clash on 2017 cents. It only has four vertical bars and no lettering.

Wow, that's a stunning die clash. There is quite a bit showing within the bust. I'm jealous!

I believe that's the nicest clash I've seen on a shield cent period. Beauty of a clash!
