But that's neither here nor there. The first two coins are definitely fake. The first purports to be a denarius of Caracalla, but the bust is entirely wrong, and it's neither silver enough to be an imperial denarius, nor coppery enough to be a limes denarius. Second purports to be of Manlia Scantilla, wife of Didius Julianus, who ruled just a couple months in 193 AD. She is very heavily faked. Report this Post to the Staff

David55 New Member United States 4 Posts	Posted 03/17/2018 1:21 pm Dont get mad at me please , but I am unable to resize the images down to 300 kb , the most I could resize them are to 350k a peice , if you want to view the images copy and paste this link here into the seaech bar without the quotations " imgur com/a/uNduX " Then in between the words imgur and com and a period like this > . But I agree, the Manlia Scantilla is faked a lot. Especially this one that you have: Obv:- MANLIA SCAN TILLA AVG, draped bust right, hair in bun behind Rev:- IVNO REGINA SC, Juno standing left, holding patera, peahen below I haven't seen any fakes with that much wear though - but wear is also faked Edited by travelcoin 03/17/2018 3:06 pm Report this Post to the Staff
