I got this 64 the other day and the C on the reverse looks funny. I didnt know if it was a common error or if someone could explain it to me.. thank you in advance.

The C on the reverse is normal and not an error. Take a look at some other Jefferson nickels and compare. This coin you picture above has seen heavy circulation and that may account for some of the C's appearance.

*This is all assuming you mean the C in AMERICA which appears truncated on the lower loop.

@S75S, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree with @spruett that your nickel has normal wear from heavy circulation use. I don't see anything remarkable about the letter C in MONTICELLO or CENTS either. Looks like a spender to me.
