About two week ago a random listing for sale showed up on my ebay account for an item I didn't list. ebay caught this and sent me a notice, by account had been compromised. Once I was able to reclaim the account and change numerous passwords, everything seemed ok. UNTIL... I list some items to sell. My ebay account information still had the hacker's email account tied to the payment information and because the items had less than 12 hours to go, ebay wouldn't cancel the auctions. So here I sit waiting for them to close so I may cancel transaction before payment is made to a thief. I had the theif's email account info and notified PayPal and hopefully the will intercept any payments. 2 hrs to go, wish me luck. |

Are all the listing up now going to the hacker? I may be able to get them canceled and you can relist.

I contacted ebay and they said they could close listings and told me to cancel transaction as soon as it closes. They cleared the bids out once, but of course they are coming back. I have 4 listings ending at 10:00 CDT Yes all four are going to thief/hacker Edited by The_Duke

I'm sorry, ebay said the couldn't close the listings. My mistake in earlier post. |

Ok, I sent it off with "90 minutes left" in the subject line. All depends if he sees it in time AND he has the power to do it. Not sure since they aren't counterfeits or policy violations. We'll see.

You may get an email saying the images weren't good enough. No worries, he just has to add a reason.
