Looks similar to examples I've seen of BIE, but shifted over one letter.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Looks like LDB3-1987-001 3EL+. Die scratches above LIBERTY seem a match but really should compare the reverse die cracks for verification.

Here are some additional pics of the reverse. I don't see any obvious die cracks above and below the left side of the memorial compared to LDB3-1987-001 3EL+.

Very nice find! It's unusual to find a "BIE" on a 1987 LMC.
