Hello all you professionals who were nice enough to click on my post.

I have this 1935 Buffalo nickel I suspect to be an error coin (a double die?), with a possible dripping strike-through beneath the year.

Would you please give me your professional opinions on the matter?

Right below the date is the incused letter F for James Frazier, designer of the coin. Don't see any doubling, where do you see it?

I see some DDD on the reverse. The F below the date is the initial for the designer's last name, James Frazier.

Thank you all for explaining the F.

What is DDD?

And is the "F" in the "Of America" normal?

Thanks again!
