Found this looking through some rolls. Have no idea what the material is. Since it is the first year of the Memorial penny. Could it be special. I do know it weighs 3.14 grams.
How could I clean it to bring out a good shine.

Never clean coins, conserve them.
This coin is too far gone, toss it

Never clean coins. Instead, conserve them.

You can't conserve or clean this one, unfortunately. Spend it.

Never clean it. You can always just keep it for yourself but it's really only good for a take a penny leave a penny dish in a store. Or spend it.
