Hello! As a kid I had a modest collection of U.S. and Canadian coins that fascinated me, and have recently sort of fallen back into the desire to collect and learn about coins. With internet shopping and the vast amount of historical information available online, it's really amazing how accessible it is!
So far I've ordered a couple lots of bulk world coins online and been picking through them, reading about various countries coinage history. It is a lot of fun. In addition to that, I've decided to try to put together a basic set of U.S. coins from the last century or so; e.g. a Barber, Buffalo and one each of the Jefferson nickel designs and so on for pennies, dimes, quarters, etc. Once I get there I'll see where I want to go.
I've already found some interesting stuff browsing these forums, so thank you all for that and I look forward to learning more!
