numismatic student Bedrock of the Community United States 11898 Posts	Posted 04/07/2018 1:06 pm In order to prepare the coin for long term storage I went up the conservation ladder: 1. Rinse in purified water. Dry. 2. Rinse in acetone. Dry. 3. Treat with Verdi Care. Dry. Result didn't differ much in the way the coin looks. Appears the coin was pretty clean to begin with.
