Hello all I'm very new to this so I'm sorry if I'm a bit off with my information

I think its a Commemorative coin to do with the opening of the Landtag (State Parliament) of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1988

but I could be way off does any one have any ideas

Correct. This a medal commemorating the opening of the new State Parliament Building in 1988.
